Getting Started

Introductory class – Are you interested in CrossFit but not sure if  it is for you?  We offer one FREE Introductory class.  During this session we will talk to you about your goals, expectations, and how CrossFit can help.  You will learn a few of the fundamental exercises, learn about our programming and experience a short CrossFit workout.   Send us an email or call 919-865-0392 to schedule.   Arrive at least 15 minutes before class time to fill out a health screen and waiver. Wear work out clothing and bring a water bottle. 

Bootcamp – Boot camps are a great way to get started with CrossFit workouts.  The atmosphere is positive, supportive, and non-intimidating.  The CrossFit Exchange Bootcamp is an 8 week, 24 session program designed to give you a total body workout and improve your overall fitness level in the shortest time possible.  You can expect running, rowing, athletic drills, body weight exercises, kettlebells, and functional movements.  Our program is suitable for all fitness levels.  Whether you are a beginner or active athlete, you’ll experience a challenging and fun workout each and every time.  BOOT CAMP PARTICIPANTS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO TAKE FOUNDATIONS FIRST.  Click here for the schedule.

Foundations -  Any one interested in becoming a member of CrossFit Exchange MUST  complete ourFoundations” program.   CrossFit can prove to be challenging on a physical and mental level, which is why we provide you with the tools for fitness success in our Foundations classes.   The Foundations curriculum is designed to expose our new members to the 9 basic movements in CrossFit, as well as some additional exercises used in the WODs (Workout of the Day), in a small group setting.  We emphasize correct form, proper technique, full range of motion,  and skill development.  There is a workout at the end of each training session.    Click here for Foundations schedule.  Email or call to get registered.

 Test-Out – To test out of Foundations you must have experience with CrossFit and Olympic weightlifing.  During the physical test you must prove your ability to perform the CrossFit movements and lifts with correct form and proper technique.   A fail will require you to make up your deficiencies with entry into the Foundation  program.  The cost to test out is $25.  Call or email to set up your test.
